We have a brand new blog: Party Ideas! And we have a brand new editor for this blog: Susan Cornish.

And to celebrate, the good people at Provo Craft have given us three cartridges of their brand new product: The Outdoor Man series!

    I’m always looking for entertaining/party ideas so I’ll be watching this new blog for sure. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I’d appreciate some new ideas for a preschool age party including snacks, crafts and decorations.

    Hi.
    I make cards, so I’d like to see ANYTHING pertaining to that. My cards are for my own personal use plus I give them away to family and friends. I own a Cricut and about 12 cartage’s which I use primarily for cutting images for the cards. Craft Gossip is a really great site because they have given me so many ideas for my cards. I look forward everyday to see what’s on it.

    Party Ideas, where could i start?? i love personalized favors like thank you for coming candy bars or special gifts for your wedding party :) or if its just a grown ups get together pouring a few bottles of red wine inside a punch bowl and keep it on ice would be nice :)
    maybe getting a theme first and go from there…
    I am super excited cuz today im expecting my cricut on the mail!! and ill be able to start using my imagination and stuff :)

    I just found this blog. Love seeing party ideas, especially garlands. I love this cartridge. I love getting inspiration for masculine projects. I have 4 grandsons. I’m always in need of special male ideas. I really need this cartridge. Being surrounded by men all the time, cricut is my sanity and salvation. (I have 4 sons and 4 grandsons) Thanks to you and Provo Craft for this giveaway. Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed.

    Creative party ideas (for original, out-of-the entertaining parties). It’s fairly easy to find Super Bowl or birthday ideas, but what about fun ideas to gather friends together when it’s not a big event?

    It would be wonderful to see you incorporate some of these cabin,hunting,fishing or even tool crafts on your pages.Anything that will make it”o’k” for us to spend money on more craft items without complaints.lol

    I’d love to see party ideas geared to adult, but fun and fanciful parties.

    I think it would be cool to learn:

    -napkin rings for various holidays
    -Party favors for people to take home (e.g. cookie ingredients in a jar with fabric over top)
    -Potpori – to make your house smell good for company
    -Homemade cake or cupcake stand
    -cake for a birthday

    Some non-party related craft ideas would include:
    -items which you can make keepsakes for friends who just got married or for you or your spouse (ornament with bouquet, picture frame with date and picture, etc).
    -Decorating wooden letters with paper or fabric for a child’s room spelling their name

    Oh yes I would like to win the Outdoor Man series! i would enjoy seeing some altered book or homemade book articles along with other paper craft projects.

    Goodness I love all the ideas you have here on Craft Gossip! I think more ideas on gift ideas using Cricut/ Silhouettes would be fun- not much into making cards and scrapbooking but would love some new genius gift ideas!

    Love using the Cricut cartridges for toppers for chocolate party favors…my daughter commented that the ones I make look like something you would purchase in a store.

    I love Craft Gossip and am always here checking things out! So I am ecstatic to view this post while looking around and it’s just in the nick of time too! My daughter is turning 14 yrs old next month and plans to have a “Movie Night” themed party with 55+ of her closest friends in attendance! So I would love to see any unique ideas or suggestions for Teen Movie Birthday Parties! We threw a Halloween bash last year with more than 75 middle schoolers in attendance. We went all out and now we apparently have set the bar very high for ourselves to host memorable parties- so I need some ideas!

    With the economy just hitting a slow, slow, did I say slow? Rebound and wedding season approaching,(Not mine) thank goodness. Maybe some Fresh DIY ideas for wedding, bridal shower decor for tight budgets. And please when I say tight I mean real people tight not NYC or LA tight. Everyday real people lower/middle class.     You can never go wrong with organization ideas. Everyone needs some in some aspect of their life. I have had a lot of people following my travel tips board on pintrest. It is mostly ideas for traveling with young kids. That might be a good idea for some posts. Of course, if you are the creative type, anything you do would be nice to share. And then there is always how your life is going, good or bad or lessons learned. Hope these help with ideas! Thanks for the opportunity at the giveaway! Love being outdoors!
